
Drew Blythe Barrymore, born February 22, 1975, is an American actress, director and producer. She hosts an talk show, hosts and writer. She is a member of the Barrymore actor family, and has received numerous awards and nominations including an Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and an Screen Actors Guild Award. She was also nominated for seven Emmy Awards and a British Academy Film Award. She was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2004.Barrymore achieved fame as a child actor when she starred in her breakthrough performance in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a very publicized childhood which was marred by alcohol and drugs addiction, she published an autobiography Little Girl Lost. She was a part of numerous films that had a lot of success during the 90s and 2000s, among them Charlie's Angels. Barrymore was a star together with Adam Sandler on three films, The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Other films she has appeared in include Firestarter, Donnie Darko, Riding in Cars with Boys, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Fever Pitch, Music and Lyrics, Going the Distance, Big Miracle, and Miss You Already. Her debut as a director, Whip It, also featured her. Grey Gardens was her first film. She won an Screen Actors Guild Award, and the Golden Globe Award. She starred in the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet and currently hosts her syndicated talk show The Drew Barrymore Show.
